Murderer Sentenced to Life in Prison for 2010 Shooting

Michael Leon King, 21, was tried for first-degree murder for the 2010 shooting death of Jared Bolli, 25. This morning, after a six day trial, the jury returned a verdict of guilty of first-degree murder.

The Honorable Yvonne Mims Evans, Superior Court Judge, sentenced the defendant to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Because a co-defendant is awaiting trial in this case, we will not detail the facts of the case at this time.
