DeShawn McManus

DeShawn McManus is wanted by the North Carolina Department of Community Corrections and CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) on outstanding warrants for interfering with an electronic monitoring device (Felony) and felony probation violation.

McManus was being monitored by CMPD in conjunction with the North Carolina Department of Community Corrections as part of his probationary sentence for a 2011 breaking and entering case.  On June 27, 2012, McManus cut off his electronic monitoring device on Reid Avenue off near West Boulevard.

McManus has an extensive criminal history in Mecklenburg County including multiple arrests for breaking and entering, robbery, auto theft, and resisting arrest.
