Charlotte native Clavon William Sanders, 36, was arrested and charged August 2nd with robbery of a convenience store near I-85 in Northeast Chatlotte.
The Fast Mart on Tom Hunter Road was robbed Thursday night at 11:00. The suspect fired a gun and robbed the store clerk and a customer.Luckily neither of the men was injured during the robbery. The robber left with a getaway vehicle driven by another suspect. A they fled the store, the clerk alerted police of both men's description.
The men were spotted by an off-duty police officer as fitting the description and pulled over on Gibbon Road. Sanders was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was being jailed under a $150,000 bond.
