Monroe Police evacuated all guest of the Relax Inn Hotel on Friday night. Police entered a ground floor room wearing protective suits just after 9PM. The Relax Inn is located off Highway 74 in Monroe, NC.
Police had arrested a man who was staying at the hotel earlier, but his name has not been released as of yet.
Monroe Fire Officials were called to the Relax Inn in Monroe, NC on Friday and responded by sending a hazard materials truck. Those guest that were located near the suspected room were moved to the other side of the hotel.
