Twenty-one year-old Donte Jamar Sims was arrested Wednesday in Charlotte for making threats on Twitter to assassinate President Obama. Secret Service agents traveled to Sim's home to question him about the five posts he made on Monday morning which threatened to take the President't life.
Sims was taken to a local precinct, where he is currently jailed until his federal detention hearing next Tuesday. He has admitted to using illegal drugs before posting the messages and has written a letter of apology. His charges are pending.
