Family offering reward for information on missing man

The family of Ken Mohler is offering a $2,000 reward for information on his whereabouts. Mohler, a 70 year old resident of Catawba County, has been missing for two weeks.

Police said they suspect foul play in Mohler’s disappearance, who was last seen at Gregory Wood Products on August 16th.

Mohler went to the saw mill near Newton to repair a pipe. Later, he made a call to his boss to say the pipe was fixed. He then sent a text message to his wife to say he was headed home. The next day, Ken’s truck was found at the mill and his cellphone was on the ground.

So far, the search for Mohler has not produced any results. The Catawba County Sherriff’s Office stated that Mohler’s family is now offering a reward for information. If you have any information, please call the Sheriff’s Office at 828-464-5241.

Mohler is a white male, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 200 pounds. He is bald and was last seen wearing a white shirt, jeans, and work boots.
