Greensboro Police Arrest Charlotte Murder Suspect

Thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip, an accused murderer is behind bars. Authorities arrested Daniel Rashad Gomez, 20, and charged him Thursday with first-degree murder for the shooting death of 20 year-old Trevor Anthony Todd.

Gomez is accused of shooting Todd after a fight took place at a Greensboro party on April 23 of 2011. Todd died at Moses Cone Hospital from the injuries he sustained. Gomez was apprehended in Charlotte by Greensboro's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.

Gomez is jailed in Guilford County without bond.
