Police Looking for Two Suspects in Armed Robbery

Suspect in 9/4 Armed Robbery

CMPD is on the lookout for two men involved in an armed robbery took at the Family Dollar store located on West Arrowood Road. The robbery took place shortly after 10:00 on the night of September 4.

On Wednesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police made public a photo taken from surveillance footage. The photo depicts one of the suspects involved in the robbery entering the store.

The first suspect is described as a black dark-skinned male weighing approximately 180 pounds and about 6' tall. At the time of the robbery, the man had a black goatee and mustache. He was wearing blue jeans, an earth-toned jacket, and black tennis shoes.

The other suspect in the robbery is described as a black male weighing about 185 pounds and just over 6' tall. That man was wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt during the robbery. His hair was in an afro and the suspect may have had a goatee.
