Shelby PD Still Looking for Suspects in 3 Robberies

After three robberies occurred within one week, Shelby police officers are requesting help from the public in identifying the suspects responsible.

Over Labor Day weekend, the Waffle House on East Dixon Boulevard and the Mike's Food Store on North Post road were both robbed. The suspect in the Waffle House robber is described as a black male approximately six feet tall. He was wearing a black toboggan as a disguise and carried a blunt object as a weapon. A man with a similar description robbed Mike's Food Store. A Captain for the Shelby Police Department said the robberies could be related.

Shortly after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon, a woman robbed the CVS on West Dixon Boulevard for prescription medication. The suspect used a note and an unknown weapon in that robbery. According to witness reports, the woman left in a white vehicle with Tennessee license plates.
