Last night, around 8:30pm, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officers received a call from the Busy Mini Mart located at 114 South Hoskins Road in reference to one person shot.Officers arrived a short time later and found Johnie Teel, 36, in the parking lot suffering from a gun shot wound. The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
