Police have charged two suspects with the murder of Baltazar Francisco Sebastian. Sebastian was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Waterford Creek apartments on Sunday, December 3rd.Kalvin Nathaniel McBride, 22 (Left) and Jason Omar Hinds, 25 (Right) were charged with murder after Charlotte Mecklenburg Police detectives were able to piece together evidence that led to criminal charges.
Hinds faces numerous other charges in connection with a December 3rd home invasion of an apartment on Providence Court Lane.
Those charges are:• First-degree rape
• First-degree burglary
• Two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon
• First-degree kidnapping
• Second-degree kidnapping
These new charges against Hinds are in addition to the two charges - of armed robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle - brought against him on Tuesday, December 5th. McBride turned himself in to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday night. Both suspects have previous criminal records for crimes ranging from larceny to carrying a concealed weapon.
