Early Thursday morning, a man was shot in the leg at his southwest Charlotte apartment. Police said around 1am, a gunman kicked in a door at the Courtney Ridge Apartments on Yorkmont Ridge Lane.Four people were inside the apartment at the time, but only one was injured. The victim suffered serious injuries and is recovering at Presbyterian Hospital. Police are still looking for the shooter.
