Police are looking for Talathia Brown (Left) in connection with a domestic stabbing that occurred on Friday night.Police found Joey Nesmith stabbed several times in the stomach on Friday evening inside an apartment building on Nobles Avenue in West Charlotte. (Nobles Ave is near the intersection of West Boulevard and Billy Graham Parkway.) The stabbing happened at the Boulevard Homes housing complex on the city's west side- which is less than a mile from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.
Nesmith (Right) was transported to Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead around 9:30 pm. Police spent several hours questioning witnesses and gathering evidence at the scene.If you see Talathia Brown, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Nesmith's murder is the 33rd homicide that police have investigated in Charlotte, NC this year.
