3 Arrested in Overnight Crime Spree

Police said five men went on a crime spree overnight. Robbery detectives are interviewing three suspects they believe may have been involved in the overnight crimes and they are still looking for two other suspects.

Officers said the crime spree began around 10 p.m., when five men carjacked a victim and stole his Dodge Durango. Thirty minutes later, on
Canterwood Drive police received a call about an armed robbery. When police arrived, the victim in that case said the suspects were in a Dodge Durango.

15 minutes later- not far from the armed robbery scene on Elgywood Lane, two victims said five men shot at them from inside a Dodge Durango. The victims ran and were not hit. After circulating the area police located the vehicle and the five men inside ran from officers. One was arrested. Officers then set up a perimeter around the scene and arrested two more suspects.

Police are still looking for the other two suspects. If anyone has any information on this case or the two suspects still at large, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. More information to come. Sources:
