A Mint Hill, NC teen is breaking the law on the road and putting your life at risk! Police want to find him. Richard Baskin, 18, is charged with a DWI for allegedly causing a crash on Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road.Last week, police said he forced drivers off the road while trying to speed away from officers. Rescuers had to pry open a mini-van to free a family trapped inside. Mint Hill police said Baskin is a repeat offender and he's been charged with DWI twice. One of the charges was dismissed.
Police want Baskin off the road and behind bars. Now, they have signed five warrants against him for wreckless driving, fleeing police and driving with a revoked license. Officers who have dealt with Baskin said they want to see a judge deal him some serious jail time to send a message that this behavior will not be tolerated.
