A bank robbery occurred today at the RBC Centura Bank located at 3920 Colony Road. The robbery happened around 3:30 this afternoon. Police are searching for three robbery suspects- two of the suspects were male and one was a female. They wore ski masks, dark clothing and were armed with 9 millimeter handguns.
Two of the suspects jumped the counter and waived handguns at employees. None of the employees nor any customers were injured. The robbers left in a stolen 1990 Maroon Buick Electra in which they ditched a few blocks away from the bank.
