Wanna-be Cop

Timothy Ezra Jasper aka Setep Elbay is a wanna-be cop. He was arrested today for carrying a gun as a felon and failure to appear on charges of impersonating a police officer.

Jasper has made a career of pretending to be someone he is not. Jasper was arrested in August of 2004 for providing unlicensed armed services and filing a false police report. In December 2004, the NC Dept. of Justice Private Protective Services board ordered a cease and desist order for 'for providing security guard and patrol services without being properly licensed.' He was also cited for allowing armed guards to carry a firearm during the course of his duties without first having met the qualifications of the Board.'

Jasper was arrested again in August of 2005 for two counts of impersonating a police officer. In February of this year, the DOJ PPS board issued another cease and desist order for Jasper to stop providing Security Guard and Patrol services without being properly licensed. Jasper is currently sitting in the Mecklenburg County Jail with a $30,000 bail.
