UPDATE: 4/19/10- SWAT took Mr. Roseboro into custody this morning at about 11 a.m. in the Independence Division off Village Lake Drive. He was taken into custody without incident.
Shea Roseboro was on CMPD Electronic Monitoring while out on bond for pending auto theft charges. On April 8, 2010, Roseboro is accused in a shooting that occurred on Lakewood Avenue. Shortly after the shooting, Roseboro cut off his court ordered monitor and is currently on the run. He is charged with:
* Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury
* Possession of Firearm by Felon
* Possession of Firearm by Felon
Roseboro has an extensive arrest record in Mecklenburg County including armed robberies, drug charges, felony assault charges, probation violations, and numerous misdemeanor charges.
Roseboro is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Thomas’s whereabouts should immediately contact the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) at (704) 336-VACT or call 911.
