UPDATE: The victim in this shooting has passed away and has been identified as Olman Mauricio Fuentes-Portillo. Based upon initial statements from witnesses at the scene, a passenger in Mr. Portillo’s car exchanged gunfire with a passenger in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck as the vehicles headed for the exit of the parking lot.
Mr. Portillo was struck in the head by gunfire and then crashed his car and came to rest in the middle of Independence Boulevard. The CMPD is reporting that a man was shot in the head in the parking lot of The Crazy Horse strip club around 2:30am this morning. According to witnesses, there was an argument in the parking lot and the victim was shot. After the victim was shot, he drove away from the scene and ended up crashing on Independence Boulevard between Farmingdale and Idlewild Roads.
The shooter fled the scene prior to Officers arriving and police are still looking for him. The suspect's vehicle is described as a white colored Ford F-150 pickup.
