The victim, a first grader, disclosed the sexual abuse to a friend. Parker admitted to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Detectives that he had engaged in sex acts with the child.
In addition to serving 20 to 24 ¾ years in prison, upon his release Parker will be required to register as a sex offender and be on satellite-based monitoring for the rest of his life.
Parker plead guilty before The Honorable Hugh B. Lewis, Superior Court Judge.
