CMPD Robbery Detectives Seeking Serial Armed Robber

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect pictured in the attached photographs. Earlier this morning, there were two convenience store/gas station robberies. Detectives believe that this suspect may potentially be the same one that robbed convenience stores during May and June of this year. All of these robberies have taken place between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and all occurred at convenience stores and gas stations.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male between 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’10”-6’0”, average /muscular build, some facial hair and left handed. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, gray and black digital camouflage zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black t-shirt underneath the hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask over his face with the hood of the sweatshirt pulled up over his head. The suspect was also wearing blue gloves with a “NY” logo on them and had a black or silver handgun.
