Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a man who shot two women early Friday Morning.
The shooting occcured at a residence on Alma Court near Statesville Avenue around 4 a.m.
Police say that a man broke into the residence and shot two women in what looks like a home invasion. The man took some items before leaving the scene. The victims were taken to a near by hospital with critical injuries, but are in stable condition.
Neighbors told police that gunshots are not unusual to hear around the area. Police are searching the home and the shooting remains under investigation.
