CMPD Arrests Auto Burglar

The man police say is responsible for a string of auto break-ins and thefts is now behind bars in Mecklenburg County.

Twenty year-old Terrence Denzel Robinson was arrested Saturday by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Robinson is charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor larceny and breaking and entering of a motor vehicle.

Robinson's arrest comes after DNA evidence linked him to larceny cases which occurred in May. Police are still investigating if Robinson may be responsible for more crimes and have asked anyone with helpful information to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
