On September 5th, a suspect entered the Ace Cash Express at 7008 E. WT Harris Blvd. He had entered through the adjacent building through the drywall separating the business. The suspect made his way to the back of the victim business and waited for the clerk to enter. When she arrived for work and turned off the alarm, the suspect approached her while pointing a handgun at her. He demanded she open the safe.
The employee could not open the safe, but repeatedly hit a silent alarm. The suspect took property from the victim and ran. Officers arrived and just missed the suspect, seeing him flee the scene.
Evidence was located at the scene leading to a suspect, Trisco McFarland. Warrants were obtained for the arrest of McFarland and he is currently being sought by police. If you have information as to the location of Trisco McFarland please contact (704)336-VCAT.
